IFSEC 2012, Booth 5E100 — MuxLab Inc (www.muxlab.com), leading designer and manufacturer of CCTV connectivity solutions for copper twisted pair, announces its latest product for the CCTV security and surveillance industry…..The LongReach II Active CCTV Receiver Hub (500126, 500127).
The LongReach II Hub is MuxLab’s next generation cabling solution for extended distance in the analog CCTV environment. The product supports up to 5,000 ft (1.5km) when used with a passive CCTV balun at the camera and up to 7,000 ft (2.1 km) when paired with MuxLab’s Active CCTV Transmitter Balun (500100/101).
The product further streamlines cabling buy allowing remote power and PTZ control to be combined with video over the same Cat5e/6 cable whereby maximum distance for remote power depend on power supply voltage and camera power consumption.
The LongReach II also features improved auto-gain control that stabilizes in less than 1 second when first powered-up and includes auto-polarity correction for ease of installation.
For additional robustness, the LongReach II Hub features ground loop isolation (GLI) up to 50VDC, has built-in surge protection and comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.
