PAUL O'GRADY WEARS AD GROUP RACE SUIT ON ITV1 DURING TEST DRIVE WITH FORMER 'STIG'

CCTV specialist AD Group hit the TV screens last Friday night in the first edition of talk show host and entertainer Paul O'Grady's new prime time show on ITV1 (Paul O'Grady 'Live') when he donned a race suit, festooned with AD Group

company logos, for a piece where he took to the track at Brands Hatch to test his driving skills under the watchful eye of the former 'Stig' (and AD Group Motorsport driver) Ben Collins.

The suit worn by Paul O'Grady was used by Ben Collins during his recent stint driving in the Le Mans Series of endurance races.

Its distinctive red, white and blue, matches the racing livery of the AD Group owned and sponsored #25 Lola HPD racecar in which Ben, helped by his co-drivers - AD Group's CEO Mike Newton and fast-paced Tommy Erdos, lifted the coveted Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) Championship for the RML AD Group team.

Said Pauline Norstrom, Board Director at AD Group who oversees the company's marketing and motorsport activities: "It was delightful to switch on my TV on Friday night to see Paul O'Grady in an AD Group race suit with the AD,

RemGuard, TransVu and Dedicated Micros logos all readily visible on-screen through the driver cam and when Paul was filmed walking to and from the car on the Brands Hatch track!

"Having Ben as the new driver on the team this season has certainly helped to raise our profile with all the attention surrounding his autobiography - 'The Man in the White Suit' - and the High Court battle and subsequent TV appearances.

This isn't the first time that AD Group company branding has made it on to National television thanks to Ben, earlier this month he featured in a trailer for Fifth Gear wearing a helmet with Dedicated Micros emblazoned on the front."

About AD Group
AD Group with its headquarters in Warrington, England, was established in 1997, its primary objective being to create and bring to market leading edge CCTV solutions. The pioneering nature of the Group’s products, with the emphasis very much on R&D, has undoubtedly been a critical element in AD’s success to date. The principal shareholder of AD is Mike Newton who founded UK CCTV giant Dedicated Micros in 1982 which ranks No1 globally for multi channel digital video recorders. In 2001 Dedicated Micros became an integral part of AD Group. Since that time all AD companies have been able to take advantage of a shared technology base, offering the potential for flexible CCTV solutions on the ground, in the air and on the move. Members of AD Group include: AD Aerospace, AD Aviation, AD Mobile, AD Network Video, ChipWrights, Dedicated Micros, D-Tec, ISD, RemGuard and TSS.
