Avigilon Control Center Delivers Extended Support for all ONVIF Industry Standard Cameras

The upcoming release of the Avigilon Control Center is scheduled to be commercially available in Q2 2010. Established in 2008 by Axis Communications, Bosch Security Systems, and Sony Corporation, ONVIF is a global and open industry forum committed to the adoption of network video in the security market. The ONVIF specification defines a common protocol for the exchange of information between network video devices including automatic device discovery, video streaming, and intelligence metadata.
