Avigilon Expands EMEA Sales Team to Meet Escalating Global Demand for Avigilon HD Surveillance System

Nicolas Cronier will oversee sales and manage customer relationships as new sales director for France, Belgium, and Luxembourg

VANCOUVER, Canada, August 31, 2010 — Avigilon today announced the appointment of Nicolas Cronier as the company’s sales director for France, Belgium, and Luxembourg. In rapid expansion mode to meet worldwide demand for the Avigilon award-winning high definition (HD) surveillance system, Avigilon engaged Cronier to oversee all sales activities and manage customer relationships in the region. 

Cronier joins Avigilon from NICE Systems Ltd., a provider of intent-based analytics applications and services, where he served as the sales manager for France and led the company’s success in the transportation, critical infrastructure, casino, and public sector markets. While at NICE Systems, one of Cronier’s flagship accounts was the Eifel tower, a project that involved more than 200 video channels combined with analytics software. Prior to NICE Systems Ltd., Cronier was responsible for establishing an office in France for PRIMION and growing market share for NEDAP, both access control equipment manufacturers.
