CBC’s frontline customer service boost

CBC (Europe) has announced a major new appointment with the news that Andrew Rosenthal has joined the company as Business Development Manager. Andrew was previously with Navtech Radar, where he was one of the innovators of radar technology in the CCTV industry.

This high profile appointment demonstrates CBC’s commitment to its customers and underlines its continuing investment in new surveillance technologies. Andrew’s role will oversee CBC’s systems solution division, as well as the introduction of new technologies into the market place.

Andrew and his team will be focusing on a wide range of CCTV solutions, including the market leading radar-based detection system, Radar Vision – a finalist in this year’s IFSEC security industry awards. Andrew will also be heavily involved in helping CBC to expand its expertise and systems portfolio of innovative IP surveillance equipment (VSoIP) to security installers and system integrators, as well as consultants, specifiers and end users. His wide ranging remit will also help to strengthen CBC’s support to its existing customers, as well as new clients.

The CBC solutions team’s ongoing development of Ganz system products and complementary Computar lenses includes the high-speed rugged C-Allview PTZ cameras, thermal imaging technology, VSOIP management systems for network applications, as well as CCTV hardware such as monitors, keyboards and digital video recorders.

“Andrew’s appointment into this newly created post shows how CBC Europe is bucking the trend in these difficult trading conditions. We’re investing in new staff as well as future technologies, which is the best possible way for us to support our customers in terms of both service and future-proof surveillance solutions,” declares CBC’s National Sales and Marketing Manager, John Downie. “Andrew’s frontline role, combined with his sharp end equipment experience, means we can help installers to provide optimal CCTV systems for their own clients’ requirements.”
