COE releases I-Command® SmartDetect
Video Analytics product range

COE Limited, a global leader in the design and manufacture of video surveillance technologies, is proud to announce the release of I-Command SmartDetect, an exciting addition to the I-Command IP management product range.

SmartDetect is a set of high-performance intelligent video analytics products, capable of detection and identification of a wide variety of user-defined events. Aimed at the professional video surveillance market, I-Command SmartDetect is a powerful technology that can add depth to the functionality of a CCTV network, identifying risks and extracting real business value.

I-Command SmartDetect is a comprehensive set of intelligent video analytics products, and may either be embedded in COE’s hardware products, or operated as stand-alone products through proxy server installation. The range of products includes:
- SmartDetect Essentials. This enhanced video motion detection product offers tracking for up to 100 targets simultaneously, and up to 40 user defined polygonal zone areas. SmartDetect Essentials is bundled free of charge with COE’s I-Vue cameras and selected X-Stream video encoders.
- SmartDetect Advanced. This superior analytics system has received i-LIDS® approval as a secondary detection system for use in sterile zone monitoring environments, and offers a range of intelligent rule based analytics functions, including direction filters, stopping/starting detection and appearance/disappearance detection.
- SmartDetect System. Powered by Agent Vi, SmartDetect System combines a variety of detection algorithms with multiple rule linking and an advanced feature set to provide a comprehensive enterprise analytics package. SmartDetect System has received i-LIDS® approval as a primary detection system for use in sterile zone monitoring environments.

Over a thousand licenses of I-Command SmartDetect have already been purchased for use in station and platform monitoring of Seoul Metropolitan Subway, and this powerful analytics platform has also been provided by COE to enhance security for the Port of Singapore, the largest port in the world. At the Port of Singapore, SmartDetect also fulfils a logistical purpose, alerting staff to delays in vehicle movements and freight processing.
