DEDICATED MICROS’ ECOSENSE COMPETITION WINNER UNVEILED

Dedicated Micros - part of AD Group - announces that Lawrence Wood, the owner of security installer WSS, has won an entry-level EcoSense DVR (Digital Video Recorder). He secured his prize after entering a competition for visitors to the Dedicated Micros’ stand during the IFSEC 2009 exhibition.

The new EcoSense DVR was handed over to Lawrence Wood by Nathan Cole, an Account Manager with Dedicated Micros, at the WSS office in Croydon, Surrey.

Launched by Dedicated Micros at IFSEC 2009, the EcoSense DVR delivers low cost multi-channel recording with simultaneous playback and viewing. The EcoSense's colour-coded, soft key menu structure and onscreen GUI, is context sensitive allowing users to quickly select options and settings. A key advance for the EcoSense is the integration of on-board help videos readily accessible from both the local and remote viewer.

Said Lawrence Wood from WSS: "I am very pleased to have received an EcoSense DVR. Even before winning the competition I was already impressed by the EcoSense's user-friendly capabilities, including colour coded menus, when I was given the opportunity to see it in action at IFSEC 2009. “Over the years I have been a strong advocate of Dedicated Micros systems.
