Fluidmesh Solution Rolls with the Rails!

Franklin Industries in Franklin, PA is a mill that rerolls used rails from the railroad and heats them to make a wide variety of products. The company turned to Treese Communications Inc. to add computers and link four new locations to their existing data network. The plant had been there since 1901, so implementing new wiring would not be an easy task. After looking at the site, it became apparent to Treese that adding fiber would be very costly because of the age and layout of the plant. Railroad tracks and roads between the buildings needed to be linked to the network. Adding fiber to these locations would require poles and trenching long distances under railroad tracks in a heavily traveled area.
