HDcctv Alliance Members Showcase Interoperable HDcctv Cameras, DVRs, and Monitors at ISC West

About HDcctv Alliance
HDcctv Alliance is a non-profit, global consortium that manages open industry specifications for high-definition closed-circuit television (HDcctv). HDcctv is an all-digital transmission over coaxial cable of broadcast-industry-standards-compliant serialized uncompressed video for the security industry. The Alliance promotes industry adoption of HDcctv and provides education on its benefits to the security industry and end market.
The Alliance compliance program facilitates the development of high-quality interoperable HDcctv devices. Devices that have passed compliance testing display the HDcctv logo and are promoted by the Alliance.

Detailed information about the HDcctv Specification is available only to members on the Alliance’s Website.

Further information is available by visiting the HDcctv Alliance Web site at http://www.highdefcctv.org.

Visit the HDcctv Alliance ISC West Booth #42001, Las Vegas, March 24-26, to learn more about HDcctv specifications, compliance testing, standards roadmap, HDcctv products, and Alliance membership. SYDNEY, Australia, March 22, 2010 – HDcctv Alliance®, the global security industry consortium established to manage technical standards for HDcctv equipment interoperability, is rapidly growing their security industry presence with membership doubling this year, expanding their already significant international presence. The membership represents a broad spectrum of the video surveillance industry, from component, OEM and branded equipment manufacturers to security sales, support and system installers.

HDcctv-based systems transmit HDTV signals digitally over conventional CCTV media without packetization and without any perceivable compression latency. Standards are a key to unlocking the market potential of this new product category. The HDcctv Alliance has partnered with SMPTE to reference the family of broadcast video interfaces known as HD-SDI to create a derivative standard to enable plug-and-play security systems and equipment that deliver high-resolution, high-definition (HD) surveillance video with no transmission delays, no image artifacts from transmission, with the highest possible signal integrity.

At ISC West, Las Vegas, March 24-26, fifteen HDcctv Alliance members are demonstrating interoperable HDcctv cameras, DVRs, and monitors planned for market shortly after the Alliance’s compliance certification standards have been finalized.

At the HDcctv Alliance Booth 42001 attendees can view demonstrations of Interoperable HDcctv Alliance Members’ products including:

• Zero Latency PTZ Cameras

• 1080p 30 Camera Reference Design
• WDR 1080p 30 Sensor Capability with Evaluation Camera
• Hi Fidelity Cable Termination Technology

Visitors can also see technologies on the HDcctv Specification roadmap, including upwardly compatible features currently under development.
