IQinVision Reaps Solid Return from Investment in Partner Training

IQU boasts nearly 400 graduates in 37 countries

San Juan Capistrano, CA, and Lancaster, PA, November 3, 2009 — IQinVision, market leader in high-performance HD megapixel network cameras, smart IP cameras, and network video recording systems, today announced that after only two years, the company’s flagship IQU Program, a two-day certification course that teaches the entire IQeye line of network cameras and accessories, has graduated 390 partners, in 37 different countries, and in all major markets. In addition to the IQU program, the company has delivered on a major commitment to market education through current and past programs, which include IQsummits, IQU Recertification, designIP, and others. Highlights of some of IQinVision’s larger market education programs over the last two years:

IQsummit. These events were designed to bring together successful IP users to discuss and explore the latest technological advancements in the security market.  The IQsummit exposed attendees to networking opportunities with leading industry figures, pioneering exhibitors, educational presentations about unique IP video solutions, and more. During a 6-month period the company, along with 22 technology partners, delivered six IQsummit events in both the US and EMEA to over 160 attendees.

IQU Recertification was conceived to provide continuous education opportunities about the latest IQeye technology to valued certified partners.  The IQU Recertification Program is a free, 60-minute webinar followed by an online exam that reviews the newest products and software for the IQeye PRO LINE and IQeye BASIC LINE of IP cameras. When partners renew their IQU certification, they continue to receive advanced access to new product information, valuable product discount and marketing support benefits earned after graduating from an IQU. Since starting the program in August this year, the company is on track to re-certify approximately 150 partners by the end of 2009.

designIP series is the natural evolution of the IQsummit program, but it goes further and deeper to review key components of developing an IP solution: video capture, transmission, processing, and storage.  Thus far in 2009, IQinVision, along with three technology partners, delivered two well-attended, successful events designed to educate end-users, integrators, architects, engineers, and consultants about making the right decisions when designing an IP video system. More designIP events are being scheduled for 2010.

“Our best customer and our best partner are those who are highly educated about IP technology and its most appropriate, cost-effective uses,” said Paul Bodell, IQinVision Chief Marketing Officer. “We have made a significant, long-term commitment to market education. That’s an important distinction; we’re committed to overall technology education, not just education about the IQinVision offering. End users and integrators know the difference. We’ve been very pleased at the response over the last two years, and we look forward to increasing our investment in highly educated consumers and partners.”
