IQinVision Expands IQeye Sentinel Series with MAIN profile H.264 and Introduces IQsentry Video Management Software

New products enhance high-quality video surveillance solution options

San Juan Capistrano, CA August 17, 2010—IQinVision, the leader in IP video and Intelligent Network camera products, today announced both the expansion of their popular IQeye Sentinel Series and the introduction of IQsentry Video Management Software.

The unique all-weather, vandal-resistant IQeye Sentinel Series now includes HD1080p H.264 models. In addition to the current 1.3MP 2.0MP, 3.1MP and 5.0MP options, the HD1080p models produce spectacular high-definition video, requiring less bandwidth and storage, while delivering full resolution at max frame rate. The IQeye Sentinel HD1080p models (available in standard and day/night versions) will begin shipping September 15th.

The company also introduced IQsentry Video Management Software. This easy-to-install, user-friendly software works with all IQeye cameras to record, manage, and export video and snapshots. This full-featured software includes camera auto-find, simple set-up and configuration, full-time or on-motion recording, and easy search and playback functionality.

A free, one-channel license of IQsentry is available for immediate download from IQeye.com and can be accessed by using any valid IQeye camera MAC address. A four-channel license will be available for purchase starting August 23rd.

“By introducing new H.264 models for our highly-popular Sentinel Series, along with the new IQsentry software, we are continuing our commitment to deliver an expanding range of video surveillance solutions for our customers,” said Mark Nazarenus, IQinVision Global Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “For 11 years now, we’ve demonstrated that we are actively listening to our end users and integrator partners and developing the products and features that will ensure we continually exceed the demands and expectations of the market.”
