IFSEC 2010 News of the Show

(1) IQinVision has the Largest Offering of HD Megapixel Network Cameras and Accessories. With recent expansions to IQinVision’s two lines of cameras—the PRO and BASIC LINES—the company now offers more than 50 base models including 14 H.264 base models and almost 200 camera kits and accessories.

(2) IQinVision is Everywhere…at IFSEC! IQinVision is taking a unique approach to highlight how our HD Megapixel solutions are integrated across the industry and across the world. In Birmingham, IQeye BASIC and PRO LINE cameras will be on display in (6) partner booths: Axxon (from Russia), Koukaam (Czech Republic), Lenel (USA), Mirasys (Finland), NUUO (Taiwan), and Veracity (UK).  IQinVision’s participating partners find this program an innovative solution to support their technology and marketing needs at the largest security trade show in Europe.

(3) IQinVision Continues Roll-out of the IQeye eStore at IFSEC. The e-Commerce site for IQeye BASIC LINE cameras to expand the number of IQinVision’s new resellers.

(4) IQinVision Announces New Positions, Sales Staff, and Promotions. The company has expanded staff in EMEA, including four Regional Sales Managers; added staff in the US HQ; and made several important promotions and relocations of staff.

(5) IQinVision Expands Mini Dome Line with MAIN Profile H.264 and Vandal-proof Models. The original VGA, 1.3 MP, and 2.0 MP Mini Domes are now available in standard or vandal models, along with HD480p and HD720p MAIN profile H.264 models that are also available in standard or vandal. MAIN profile H.264 was selected because it offers superior image quality to any other network camera or dome available today.

(6) IQinVision Revamps and Expands IQU Program. Through the end of QI 2010, the company will have graduated over 560 partners located in 45 countries. This rapid pace and level of outreach continues in QII with 15 more IQU events planned in locations across North America and Europe, including Russia.

(7) JET Oil Assets Successfully Protected by IQinVision HD Megapixel Technology. JET Oil has installed IQinVision HD megapixel technology at 22 of its unmanned gasoline stations. Three IQeye702 cameras are strategically located at each JET station to protect on-site assets, provide surveillance to guard against customers tampering with pumping equipment, and to monitor buildings which house pump technical control equipment. Based on project success to date, JET Oil plans to install the IQinVision-Milestone system in at least 8 more stations over the next few months.

(8) IQinVision Ensures Loomis Effectively Documents Cash Handling. Loomis Denmark relies on IQinVision megapixel technology to ensure transparency throughout the company’s critical functions of transport and counting of cash, financial documents, and other valuables. Loomis’ surveillance technology is based on crystal-clear IQeye forensic-quality video images fed to Milestone Systems open platform XProtect Corporate IP video management software.

(9) Innovative Use of IQinVision HD Megapixel Images in Sweden Reduces Gasoline Theft. The Statoil station in Örebro, Sweden is among the first of 20 stations to have already installed the new Milestone/IQinVision/Niscayah system. The anti-theft system is a Milestone video surveillance management platform running Milestone Analytics, with at least two IQinVision IQeye HD Megapixel cameras per station deployed to record the gas pump areas. All customer license plate data is captured in crystal-clear IQeye image quality and fed to a Niscayah Customer Service Center, where the license plate data is stored in a database.

(10) IQinVision and Milestone Improve Security at MAXI ICA Supermarkets. 115 IQeye HD megapixel cameras watch over one of Sweden’s largest supermarket chains. “The reason MAXI ICA doesn’t need to have even more cameras per square meter is because of our choice of IQeye megapixel cameras, which can cover a greater area than cameras with conventional resolution. It is quite simply a more efficient solution, thus more economical than installing conventional cameras,” explained Fredrik Westin, Managing Director at InSupport, the integrator who implemented the solution.

(11) Lenel Expands Support for IQinVision Cameras. Lenel customers can now choose from 40+ IQeye standard and HD Megapixel cameras. This brings to more than 50 the number of NVR and DVR manufacturing partners who support IQeye cameras.
