ASIS 2009 News of the Show

(1) IQinVision Reaps Return from Investment in Partner Training. After only two years, the company’s IQU Program, a two-day training course designed to teach the entire line of IQeye network cameras and accessories, has graduated 387 partners located in 37 different countries in all major markets.

In addition to the IQU program, the company has delivered on a major commitment to market education through current and past programs including IQsummits, IQrecertification, designIP, and other programs.

(2) IQinnovation Continues—New High Definition 1080p H.264 Cameras. The IQeye PRO LINE now has over (20) H.264 models. These newest IQeyes are able to deliver multiple simultaneous H.264 and MJPEG streams, and are ideal for installations where bandwidth is at a premium.

(3) IQeye Alliance Extreme Temperature Day/Night Vandal Domes Introduced. Alliance Dome Series now available in 45 models—every model is now available in indoor or outdoor, standard or day/night, and MJPEG or H.264/MJPEG. IQA1 models will also be available in an Extreme Temperature Heater/Blower package. IQinVision offers a model for every customer, every application.
(4) Choctaw Nation Deploys 1000+ IQeyes to Manage Surveillance at Four Gaming Facilities. The combined Genetec, Pivot3, and IQeye security solution represents one of the most cutting-edge casino solutions deployed today. IQeye megapixel cameras are specified to protect high-value areas for the Choctaw Nation Casinos located in McAlester, Grant, Stringtown, and Durant, covering the gaming floors and tables, cashier windows and cash counting rooms, entryways, main choke points, and parking lots.

(5) Three Industry Leaders Announce “designIP series” Symposium Launch. The designIP series events will feature presentations from all three companies covering the migration from analog to digital video surveillance. Presentations will detail how best to design an IP-based surveillance system that can maximize cost-effectiveness without sacrificing security results. designIP events will be held in Chicago October 1st and on October 8th in New York.
(6) Expanded EMEA Headquarters Relocated to Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The new central location provides additional space and resources to enhance business and customer service, and to expand the company’s offering of IQU trainings, educational seminars, and other events.”

(7) Open-System Vendors Demonstrate IP Interoperability Live on ASIS Show Floor. IQinVision, Exacq, Firetide, and Pivot3 showcase live interoperability of wireless connectivity, megapixel cameras, smartphone viewing, and smart storage.
(8)  Major Transportation Provider Relies on IQinVision Quality for Pro-active Video Surveillance. This end user’s layered IP video management system brings together several technology providers, but at the system core are 200 IQeye Sentinel 2-megapixel environmental PoE cameras.  The Sentinels are integrated at the network edge with Agent VI video analytics technology. The unique Sentinel housing design reduced installation costs and helped keep project installation ahead of schedule.

(9) St. Stephens Community Center Upgrades Security with Donations from IQinVision, Milestone, Anixter, and Integrator. This 90-year old community center housing a daycare, 25-room medical facility, gym, and many service projects for the community was experiencing a rash of break-ins. At the request of Anixter, IQinVision and the integrator, Production Solutions, spearheaded a project to install, at no cost, an IP surveillance system that would upgrade security for this vital community institution.
(10) Bulgarian Toyota Dealer Uses IQinVision-NUUO Technology to Improve Security and Operations. A prominent Toyota dealership in the capital, Sofia, has deployed approximately (50) IQeyes, managed by a NUUO video management system. In addition to surveillance of strategic points and the perimeter, cameras also provide surveillance of the large service lot, providing accurate information on what car repairs are on-going and how and where service personnel are working.

(11) Pelco Endura IP Video Surveillance System Now Supports IQinVision H.264 Camera Line. An essential component to IQinVision’s market success is the impressive number of NVR and DVR partners that support integration and operability with the rapidly expanding IQeye line. Pelco joins approximately (17) manufacturers in choosing to integrate with and offer the best HD/Megapixel cameras available.
(12)   IQinVision Expands Line of System Support Tools with IQmanager. IQmanager enables network managers to easily edit and update IQeye cameras with an intuitive, intelligent software support tool—it finds local and remote cameras, performs batch updates, cuts and pastes camera configurations, and even performs basic camera diagnostics. 
(13)   Waterford Township Upgrades Water Security with IP Video and IQeye Cameras. To protect critical water resources, Waterford implemented a multi-phased broadband wireless system and IQeye 2-megapixel cameras to provide the township with high-speed wireless connectivity, including links to remote water and sewer facilities.
