Altronix’s Alan Forman Receives Humanitarian Award

Miami, FL (March 5, 2010) – Mission 500, a non-profit initiative focusing on the security industry and dedicated to serving the needs of children and communities in crisis, today announced that Alan Forman will receive  the charity’s first annual “Mission 500 Humanitarian Award.”  The Award will be presented to Mr. Forman, President of Altronix, at a special cocktail reception on March 25th, during ISC West in Las Vegas.

“Alan is well worthy of this honor,” said George Fletcher, Advisory Council Member/Volunteer, Mission 500.  “He has given of himself in a number of charitable causes by committing his time, rallying others to get involved, generating financial contributions and making everyone around him feel special.”

The purpose of the Mission 500 Humanitarian Award is to honor individuals in the security industry who make important contributions to those in need.  According to Mission 500, Mr. Forman exemplifies this through his involvement with numerous charitable organizations, as well as serving on the advisory boards of Gift of Life International and Mission 500, and as the New York Metro Chapter President for the American Technion Society. In 2005, Mr. Forman was inducted into the Security Sales & Integration Hall of Fame, and in 2009 he was the recipient of the George Lippert Memorial Award for his commitment to professionalism and advancement of the professional security industry.
