Mobotix Group Reports Record Results
in Fiscal Year 2008/09
Despite Global Crisis

Langmeil, August 20, 2009. Mobotix AG (ISIN DE0005218309), at the forefront of technology as system provider of digital high-resolution network-based video security systems, reports record results for the fiscal year 2008/09, ending on June 30, 2009.

The Mobotix Group (IFRS consolidated statements) has, despite the global financial crisis, reached a sales growth of approximately 27% in fiscal year 2008/09, resulting in sales of € 44.9m (previous year: € 35.3m), and has thus significantly increased its global market share.

The group EBITDA reached € 12.0m (previous year: € 8.2m), resulting in an EBITDA margin of 26.0% (previous year: 22.3%). With an EBIT of € 10.6m (previous year: € 7.0m), the EBIT margin could be increased to 22.9% (previous year: 19.0%). The net income for the period amounts to € 7.5m, resulting in earnings per share of € 1.70 (previous year: € 1.16).

The EBIT of the fourth quarter (April 1 – June 30, 2009) of the fiscal year 2008/09 rose disproportionately even by 32% to € 3.7m (previous year: € 2.8m).

Thus, the Mobotix group has significantly exceeded its own earnings forecasts for fiscal year 2008/09 and can report record earnings in which the shareholders will participate with a dividend of € 1.00 (previous year: € 0.50).

The Management Board will present the figures of the fiscal year 2008/09 on August 20, 2009 at 11.00 a.m. in a conference call. The Annual General Meeting will take place on September 30, 2009 at 9.00 a.m. at the headquarters in Langmeil.
