MuxLab Streamlines Security Video Cabling Centralized Video, Remote Power
and PTZ Control via Cat5e/6

Canasa 2010, Toronto — MuxLab Inc (www.muxlab.com), designer and manufacturer of CCTV and audio-video connectivity solutions, announces one of its latest product for the security video industry…..The Passive CCTV Power Integrator Hub (500136).

The Passive CCTV Power Integrator Hub allows video, remote power and PTZ control to be transmitted via one Cat5e/6 cable between the CCTV camera and the DVR/IP encoder in the security video environment.

The product features a built-in 16-channel CCTV power supply (350VA) that supplies 24VAC or 28VAC to each CCTV camera. The hub works in conjunction MuxLab’s 500000R, 500009, 500022, 500023, 500024 and 500029 CCTV baluns, providing a centralized power/video/PTZ cabling solution for short and medium distance analog CCTV systems.

The product supports up to sixteen (16) cameras. Each camera port may be individually configured to transmit any combination of video, remote power and control over a single Cat5e cable for maximum cabling versatility.

Furthermore each hub port may be configured to supply 24VAC, 28VAC or "no power" depending on the remote power distance requirements. The product is also pin-compatible with MuxLab’s standard Passive CCTV Hub (500130) and therefore may be used in existing installations where the 500130 is currently being deployed.

The product complies with EIA568 wiring standards and works in conjunction with the CCTV Pass-Thru Balun (500022) and Power-Thru Balun (500024) as well as other MuxLab CCTV products for a total centralized CCTV cabling solution.

The Passive CCTV Power Integrator Hub is a 2U 19" rack-mountable unit and BNC connectors for video for installation near the DVR equipment.  Stop by MuxLab's booth (#136).
