OnSSI Supports PSIA and ONVIF Standards.
Camera Pack v4.6 Supports Dual Compliancy, Streamlining and Reducing Cost of Installation.
Pearl River, NY (January 8, 2010) – On-Net Surveillance Systems, Inc. (OnSSI), the leading supplier of IP video surveillance control and management software, has launched an updated edition of their Camera Pack software. The new Camera Pack, v4.6 is one of the industry’s first camera driver packs that is both PSIA (Physical Security Interoperability Alliance) and ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) compliant, supporting standards from both organizations. Additionally, the software now includes drivers for newly supported devices as well as enhanced support to existing devices.

Now available for download for all OnSSI VMS and PSIM solutions, Camera Pack v4.6 supports the following additional devices: Axis P1344 and Axis P1345; DVTel DVT-7612-e; IQEYE IQ-732; VideoIQ VIQ-E Series; and Weldex WDNC-64072C as well as additional cameras from Dynacolor, Honeywell, Panasonic, SANYO and Vivotek. The new software also provides H.264 support for Arecont AV185 and AV8365 cameras as well as support for ONVIF and PSIA compatible devices.
ONVIF is an open industry forum for the development of a global standard for the interface of network video products. The ONVIF specification will ensure interoperability between network video products, regardless of manufacturer, by defining a common protocol for the exchange of information between network video devices including automatic device discovery, video streaming and intelligence metadata.
PSIA is a global consortium of manufacturers and systems integrators focused on promoting interoperability of IP-enabled security devices across all segments of the security industry. PSIA promotes and develops open standards relevant to networked physical security technology across all segments including video, access control, analytics and software.
