Pelco to feature a dedicated HD Booth
at ISC West 2010

Clovis, CA; (March 4, 2010) – Leading the security industry with end-to-end IP High-Definition systems, Pelco is pleased to announce many new additions to its product line that will be featured at the upcoming ISC West 2010 show in Las Vegas.

As the security industry moves toward HD, this year Pelco is showcasing its innovation in High Definition with a dedicated HD presence in its booth. The following are among the new products slated for display at the show (Pelco booth No. 14041).

High Definition Cameras and Dome Systems
Pelco has taken its industry-leading Spectra PTZ dome into the world of high definition. When the best possible quality image is your number one priority, Spectra HD delivers crystal-clear images via IP for live streaming to a standard Web browser (Microsoft ® Internet Explorer or FireFox ®), Endura, DS or other HD Video Management System. The dome features open architecture connectivity for third-party software recording solutions allowing you to integrate Spectra HD into virtually any IP-based HD system. Setting a new standard of performance and usability for fixed HD dome systems, the new Pelco Sarix ID Series Mega-Performance cameras feature SD to HD resolutions, exceptional lowlight performance, Auto Back Focus, consistent color, H.264 compression, and analytics.

Compact, powerful and surprisingly affordable, the new Sarix IM Series Mini Indoor Fixed Network Dome includes the most popular features and functionality of Sarix technology. These 1.3 megapixel or standard-definition cameras deliver best-in-class low light performance, H.264 compression, consistent color science and more. A new firmware update for the popular Sarix IX megapixel camera series will also be on display at the show. The new update offers increased camera performance on extended platform models to 1080p 30 images a second with H.264 compression. It also offers additional features for all Sarix-based cameras including motion detection and advanced image sharpening. Users can also now run simultaneous analytics without having to lower resolution or images per second.

Desktop FHD Displays
Pelco Full HD LCD Displays help customers make the most of their megapixel investment, delivering optimal monitor performance, improved response time, and higher resolution, with sharper, brighter images. Smart thermal management reduces component stress while ensuring reliable 24/7 operation. New 24- and 32-inch Desktop Full HD LCD displays from Pelco are the industry’s first Energy Star v5.0-compliant monitors, allowing customers to save money and energy in their installations. With the addition of the PMCL524F and PMCL532F, Pelco now offers the industry’s most complete line of high-resolution 1080P monitors ranging from 24-inch to 52-inch.

Enhanced Video Control and Management through Endura 2.1
Endura 2.1 delivers the true HD Virtual matrix, with the addition of the HD Video Console Display and HD Video Decoder. Building on the inherent scalability built into the Endura architecture, these new components bring improved ease of use and efficiency to your video surveillance solution. Two additional Endura components extend the Pelco commitment to open and integrated systems. The UDI5000 (Universal Device Interface) overcomes the complexities, limitations, and traditional headaches of adding and licensing third-party cameras to a video management system. The NSM5200F (Network Storage Manager with Fiber Channel interface) allows customers to connect third-party storage to extend retention times while consolidating storage platforms. The next step in high quality, end-to-end HD video, Endura 2.1 is the solution you’ve been looking for.

EnduraXpress: HD Network Video Appliance
Pelco is proud to offer the EnduraXpress video appliance, designed to make enterprise-class HD performance easy and affordable for 16- to 64-camera systems. Purpose-built for video surveillance, EnduraXpress handles HD video with predictable performance, providing the reliability and fault-tolerance needed for mission-critical applications.
