Pelco DS NVs Video Management Software – Now With 4 FREE IP Camera Licenses

Clovis, CA (October 5, 2010) – Pelco is pleased to announce that its newest version of the powerful Digital Sentry® (DS) NVs Video Management Software is now included with every Pelco IP camera and comes with four free Pelco IP camera licenses.

The new DS NVs Version 7.1 introduces a new licensing structure, new features and new pricing, providing a seamless migration from DVRs to IP and megapixel camera systems.

According to Pelco management, the DS NVs wizard-driven utility and auto-discovery of Pelco and third-party IP devices, allows for complete system installation and set-up in less than 15 minutes. Its ControlPoint graphical user interface enables users to easily monitor and manage multiple Digital Sentry® sites.

It also allows users to benefit from today’s HD and megapixel camera offerings while protecting investments in existing equipment such as Pelco DX DVRs and HVRs.

DS NVs supports SD and Megapixel recording with MPEG4, MJPEG or H.264 compression and is capable of recording and displaying high-quality video captured by Pelco IP and third-party cameras – up to 64 per server.

New LDAP Authentication capabilities allow users to manage multiple systems with ease, and when users are ready to expand, they simply order additional licenses.
