Mobile Video Unit solves problems for temporary video surveillance installations

In many situations, whilst reacting to an instant need for enhanced security, the rapid deployment of temporary video surveillance equipment is vital.

The deployment of such temporary video surveillance systems i.e. for police use but also at events, construction sites, road works and in public areas is a difficult challenge. In most cases power for the whole system as well as the respective constructions for mounting the cameras at an appropriate height are unavailable.

Secura Systems Mobile Video Unit solves those issues all at once. The fully stand-alone, fast deployable, robust and well secured container is equipped with a pneumatic telescopic pole of 6 meters, 230V power connector with inverter, backup power supply with a 1000 Ah battery as well as cameras and recording equipment. The whole unit can easily be relocated with the dedicated trailer.

High-Performance Day/Night Video Surveillance
Once at the site the Mobile Video Unit delivers high-performance Day/Night video surveillance using the pre-mounted SentryScopes and/or Speeddomes and optional Infra-Red Illuminators and records all to the recording system installed inside the unit.

Monitor video for any place in the world
The Mobile Video Unit can be equipped with a complete video transmission system – using i.e. GPRS / UMTS / HSDPA and/ or Wavesight Wireless Transmission products – making sure that the video footage coming from the unit can be watched from literally any place in the world.

Keep trace of the Mobile Video Unit at all times
In order to make sure that the unit is not re-located or accessed by non-authorised person’s intrusion detection and/or GPS systems can be installed. Connected to a Central Monitoring Station you can keep trace of the unit and its status at all times.

Whereas initially developed to be deployed at sites where CarSCAN users need video surveillance at a secure distance it also provides a very suitable solution for: Construction Sites, Temporary Storage, Events, Road Works, Public Areas, Airports, Ports, Railway, etc...
