Synectics expands IP camera integration with JVC IP range
Synectics Security Networks have reinforced their open-platform design ethos with the integration of the full range of JVC IP cameras into the award-winning SynergyProTM security management software, VMS (Virtual Matrix System) and MDRS H.264 enterprise class storage technology.
Integration now affords easy JVC IP camera set-up, with instant live images available direct from the camera and via Synectics Primary Storage Node (PSN) Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) distribution. Common camera functionality, full PTZ control of the new JVC Direct Drive motor mechanisms, and Synectics Evidence Locker functionality is also provided via the intuitive SynergyProTM Graphical User Interface (GUI).
The easy inclusion of the range into Synectics-based CCTV networks means end-users can take advantage of a JVC IP camera range that delivers high-resolution images with exceptional colour reproduction. Capable of streaming both JPEG and MPEG-4 images simultaneously, the cameras also operate via PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology for ease of installation and low power consumption.
Synectics SynergyProTM, VMS, and MDRS H.264 archiving technology offer unsurpassed video quality coupled with embedded evidential handling procedures that are designed to meet the stringent guidelines from the Home Office Scientific Development Branch (HOSDB) and the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO).
David Aindow, Business Development Director for Synectics adds; “Constantly adding device compatibility from the world’s leading manufacturers of security products provides both our new customers and long-term technical partners with the widest range of options for their electronic surveillance systems, ensuring Synectics-based CCTV networks remain the best choice for flexibility and performance.”
