Codestuff is one of the UK's leading software development companies for the management of IP Video CCTV systems.

Our product portfolio includes our own "Quorum" branded product range as well as a number of bespoke systems for shopping malls, airports etc where off the shelf products do not offer the required integration needed in these types of environments.

We are also a large supplier of OEM products and produce Video Management Systems for some of the world's largest CCTV suppliers and Integrators. These are installed worldwide and cover systems with just a few cameras, to hundreds of cameras.

Training Stuff - The Codestuff Academy

Codestuff has now acquired the premises for our new training facility, the "Codestuff Academy".

The purchase of the building in the outskirts of Edinburgh will allow Codestuff to take the next step in the development of the company. The new Codestuff Academy will support new and existing customers in all aspects of CCTV IP training.

Currently, training takes place on a monthly basis at our head office near Livingston but this new facility will allow a number of new courses, with the added benefit of a relaxing round of golf after a hard day's studying.  For more information on Codestuff Academy please visit our website.

People Stuff

Pim Van Oerle came to Codestuff in 2008 from the Netherlands and liked it so much that he decided to stay. He got his MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Groningen in 2006.

"At Codestuff I get to use my skills in a pioneering company that is making waves in IP video surveillance systems. I am involved in growing markets like remote viewing and networked video technology and I get the opportunity to work with some of the world's biggest software and technology firms."

"Codestuff is a small but growing company, so I have a varied role, experimenting on new projects, pushing the boundaries of technology and contributing to the growth of the company. Right now I'm working on IP CCTV products for multiple customers, integrating new cameras, adding new features and enhancing user experience and usability in our video systems technology."

"Both I and my partner enjoy living in Scotland, especially Edinburgh and we are planning to get married next year. Working at Codestuff makes me feel lucky to have found a job I thoroughly enjoy. The people are great and there are constant challenges to keep me interested and allow me to develop my skills."

Pim's Tech Tip: To stop displaying video in all video panes in Quorum Pro, set up an empty stored view, then recover it when you want to close down all cameras.
