IQinVision Expands Indoor Camera Line with Small, Powerful IQeye 3 Series Camera
New H.264 camera delivers highest quality megapixel images with lowest bandwidth demand
San Juan Capistrano, CA, December 13, 2011—IQinVision , market leader in high-performance HD megapixel IP cameras, today announced the introduction of the IQeye 3 Series H.264 camera.
The new IQeye 3 Series camera features H.264 Main Profile compression and is available in SD480p, HD720p, and HD1080p models. Based on the popular, time-tested Alliance-mini dome, these compact cameras support streaming audio, Lightgrabber™ II low-light capabilities, impressively low power consumption, and up to 60 fps @ SD480p and HD720p.
The 3 Series camera offers exceptional image quality in a small, versatile form factor. At only 49.4 mm in height, this camera is designed for discreet indoor use and is ideal for retail, education, and commercial/industrial environments. The 3 Series camera line is both PSIA and ONVIF compliant—the leading standards bodies in the industry today—providing the flexibility to ensure compatibility with all of the most popular VMS platforms.
IQinVision’s H.264 cameras use only Main Profile compression, which offers the most efficient video compression available while maintaining a smooth, high quality image and low network bandwidth utilization, resulting in lower storage costs.
“The 3 Series camera is one of the most exciting, high performance cameras we will be releasing in 2012,” said IQinVision Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Rob Ledenko. “With our well-established product quality and all of the camera’s new features, it should prove to be one of the most highly sought after cameras in the industry. Our customers rely on us for the right form factor, feature set, lens, and compression for any given surveillance system, and we deliver on that.”
The newest IQeye 3 Series camera will be available January 15th 2012.
