New Framegrabber Technology pushs the frontier of CameraLink cable lengths

The new Camera Link frame grabbers from Euresys now implement ECCO. ECCO stands for “Extended Camera Link Cable Operation”.

This new feature allows Grablink Full, Dual Base and Base to go far beyond the Camera Link specifications in terms of speed and/or cable length.

Depending on the clock frequency and the quality of the cable, which can drastically vary from one cable to another, ECCO allows the new Grablink boards to operate with cable lengths in excess of 30%, compared to those specified by the Camera Link standard, and those achievable by the other boards with a “conventional” implementation of the standard.

This additional 30% cable length between the camera and the PC is available with the Grablink Full, DualBase and Base at no additional cost!  To evaluate a board contact MultiPix Imaging.
