MuxLab HDMI 4x4 Matrix Switch Streamlines Cabling ISE 2011

MuxLab Inc., designer and manufacturer of CCTV and audio-video connectivity solutions for copper twisted pair, announces its latest addition to its AV connectivity portfolio…..The HDMI 4x4 Matrix Switch (500415).

Developed for the custom residential and commercial AV market, the HDMI 4x4 Matrix Switch (500415) allows up to four (4) HDMI sources to be routed or distributed to up to four (4) HDMI displays via two (2) Cat5e/6 cables.

At 1080p/8-bit resolution, the hub supports up to 150 ft (46m) via Cat5e cable and supports 1080p Deep Color up to 150 ft (46m) via Cat6 cable.

The HDMI 4x4 Matrix Switch includes four (4) IR Emitters for source control plus one (1) IR handheld remote and works in conjunction with the HDMI IR Receiver (500407) and HDMI IR Receiver with Source Control (500417).

The hub features local HDMI outputs and maybe controlled via front panel pushbutton, IR remote, USB or Web interface. The product comes with MuxLab’s Control Software with user-friendly GUI interface and features EDID handling options for optimum flexibility.

The HDMI 4x4 Matrix Switch streamlines cabling in applications such as: home theatre, digital signage, boardroom projector systems and classroom training systems. The product allows pre-existing twisted pair to be used instead of costly single-use HDMI cable, thereby allowing HDMI equipment to access the structured cabling system for greater maximum investment return.

The product has a two (2) year warranty and complies with HDMI 1.3a and FCC Class A standards.

For more information, please visit the MuxLab website

See the product in action at ISE 2011, booth 2A39.
