Synectics exhibits innovative and integrated systems at IFSEC 2011

Birmingham, NEC—16th May, 2011–Synectic Systems Group, Ltd. (Synectics), a leading developer and manufacturer of innovative and integrated security systems, is once again demonstrating its innovative range of specialist application software, control systems and surveillance products at this year’s IFSEC at the NEC on 16th to 18th May, stand F10, Hall 4.

The company’s Product and Technology Director, David Aindow will also be leading a seminar on advances in the digital video world focusing on scalable video coding, HD CCTV and the wider use of open standards. ‘The Future of Video Technology’ seminar takes place at 10:30 on the 18th May – Hall 5, Seminar Theatre.

“IFSEC provides an excellent opportunity for us to demonstrate how we add value to our customers’ operations through innovation and integration that delivers powerful surveillance technology. We will also aim to highlight why installers, consultants and end-users get more than just a product from Synectics”. said John Shepherd, Chief Executive Officer, Quadnetics Group Plc. - Synectics parent company.

Synectics will focus on how it delivers innovation by previewing its new low-power storage platform, which utilises a unique patented storage system that offers a true return on investment. Synectic’s award-winning Synergy Security Management Software will be available where the company will be demonstrating its third party integration capabilities including access control, personal alarms and analytics.

“Synergy is a foundation platform on which companies’ security departments can build and run all their enterprise security applications in an integrated environment,” said John Shepherd.” This software platform is strategic for customers as they continue to integrate legacy and advanced hardware and software applications in an effort to extend their enterprise security solutions to benefit the productivity of other departments across the organisation.”

Visitors to the show will also see the new Synergy Dataveillance tool, which mines and correlates alarm and transactional data to identify suspicious behavior patterns, fraudulent activities and marketing trends. When integrated with video, this solution can be used to enhance the efficiency, security and profitability of an enterprise environment.

“Organisations need to make strategic decisions based on factual and relevant information, so we are focusing on ‘complete intelligence’ – bringing video and other relevant data together in order to generate really meaningful results for the end user that they can control and dictate.” said David Aindow, Product and Technology Director, Synectics.

Synectics will also be demonstrating how it can deliver protection to critical infrastructure environments through its innovative and highly specialist security surveillance solutions:

VEEcam®, its rugged video recording, streaming and image capturing device is ideal for use by the emergency services - often used by police officers at high profile events.
