Prosilica GT Goes CMOS

AVT adds CMOS sensor technology to Prosilica GT family of cameras for extreme environments.

Allied Vision Technologies premieres the new Prosilica GT2000 featuring the high performance CMV2000 CMOS sensor at The AIA Vision Show in Boston.

CMV2000 CMOS sensor

The eagerly anticipated Prosilica GT2000 is a 2.2 Megapixel camera featuring the CMOSIS CMV2000, a global shutter CMOS sensor that offers high sensitivity, fast frame rates, and high dynamic range. The Prosilica GT2000 runs at 50 frames per second at full 2048 x 1088 resolution.

Extended temperature range

With an extended temperature range (from -20C to +60C) and a rich set of smart features including auto-iris (P-iris and DC), Power over Ethernet and PTP IEEE1588, a function that manages clock synchronization of multiple devices across an Ethernet network, the Prosilica GT2000 is ideal for applications such as machine vision, motion control, traffic monitoring or high speed inspection that require a camera able to provide high performance, fast frame rates and excellent image quality in the most extreme conditions.

The GT2000’s GigE Vision® compliant interface ensures reduced integration costs and long cable lengths up to 100 meters on a single copper link or more with fiber optics.

Prosilica GT Now Offers up to 29 Megapixel Resolution

8 and 29 Megapixel models join AVT’s Prosilica GT family of cameras for extreme environments.

The 8 Megapixel Prosilica GT3300 and 29 Megapixel Prosilica GT6600 by Allied Vision Technologies made their debut at The Vision Show in Boston.

Quad-tap KAI CCD Sensors

The Prosilica GT3300 and GT6600 bring very high resolution to the Prosilica GT family of Gigabit Ethernet cameras for extreme environments.

The new 8 Megapixel Prosilica GT3300 features the KAI-08050 CCD progressive scan sensor from Truesense Imaging, which provides exceptional image quality, high sensitivity and dynamic range, improved anti-blooming and reduced smear. Dividing the sensor into a four quadrant parallel readout allows this device to support 14 fps at full 3296 x 2472 resolution so that you no longer have to trade-off resolution for speed.

The 29 Megapixel Prosilica GT6600 features the KAI-29050 CCD device from Truesense Imaging, which, supported by the 5.5 µm pixel architecture from the KAI sensor family, provides high sensitivity and low noise performance.  The sensor’s vertical overflow drain structure design suppresses image blooming and enables electronics shuttering for precise exposure control. The Prosilica GT6600 camera outputs 6576 x 4384 pixels at 4 fps.

The Prosilica GT3300 and GT6600 are both equipped with an F-mount as standard, with an M58 mount option available on the GT6600.  They are compatible with a wide-range of high quality commercial and industrial lenses.

Extended temperature range and more

The Prosilica GT cameras are designed to work in temperatures from -20⁰ C to 60⁰C and feature auto-iris (P-iris and DC), Power over Ethernet and PTP IEEE1588, a function that manages clock synchronization of multiple devices across an Ethernet network. Their GigE Vision® compliant interface ensures reduced integration costs and long cable lengths up to 100 meters on a single copper link or more with fiber optics.

Both cameras are ideal for a wide range of demanding applications including industrial imaging, inspection, medical imaging, LCD inspection, aerial imaging, high-end security and traffic and much more.
