Nashville, TN (June 25, 2012) – At this year’s Electronic Security Expo (ESX), Altronix is showcasing innovative products that economically address the industry’s continued migration to networked systems.

Power solutions for video surveillance, access control, fire/life safety and intrusion detection will be presented, including eBridge IP Over Coax Adapters for the transmission of video and data with power over long distances; a new PoE Midspan that’s PoE, PoE+ and LTPoE++TM (PoE++) compliant; the HubWayH16 Passive UTP Transceiver Hub for integration of analog cameras using structured cable, and an expanded offering of ReServ Uninterruptible Power Supplies.

eBridge IP over Coax Adapters transmit IP video and data over coaxial cable for distances greater than 2,000 feet without the need for repeaters. eBridge makes it possible to use legacy coax infrastructure with the latest IP video surveillance cameras, accessories and devices without the costs of installing new structured cable and removing pre-existing wire.

Models include the single channel eBridge1CRT kit, which is comprised of the eBridge1CR Receiver and the eBridge1CT transceiver, and the eBridge16CR 16 channel receiver for large system applications.

NetWay1E is a midspan injector that expands customers’ capabilities to power a whole new range of power-hungry IP devices and is PoE, PoE+ and LTPoE++TM compliant.

LTPoE++, typically referred to as PoE++, is a proprietary standard that serves devices with higher power requirements, including 70W, 52.7W and 38.7W, while maintaining all the advantages and efficiencies of PoE.

HubWayH16 Passive UTP Transceiver Hub is a 16-channel UTP solution allows video and PTZ control up to 750 feet, along with injected camera power, over a single CAT-5 or higher structured cable.

ReServ Uninterruptible Power Supplies are UL listed and combine an Altronix power supply and UPS into a single solution to ensure power for cameras and security devices during normal, brown-out and power outage conditions.
