Over the next 60 days Arecont Vision will be launching several new product platforms at the upcoming ISC West, Secutech Taiwan, Expo Securidad/Mexico, and IFSEC shows.

You can be sure that the Arecont Vision team is working very hard to make these upcoming events even better than our stellar exhibits in 2011. We will also be delivering new sales training to the people that will be working the tradeshow.

You have all been briefed on the new Wide Dynamic Range camera systems and our new MegaDome 2 camera system with remote focus and zoom capabilities. For those that have demonstrated the MegaDome 2 to customers, you know the reaction has been excellent. The feedback that we received from you and our customers has been delivered to our product development team for consideration for our final product release.

We have accomplished a great deal already this year. We completed the 3X Customer Events in Dubai and Singapore with more than 50 key customers attending each of the events in those geographic theatres. One of the highlights of the 3x meetings are the customer success stories they present about significant end user wins. All of these stories point out the value that megapixel cameras provide in improved image quality and reduction in the cameras they deploy, which provides a compelling ROI. In addition to building upon our relationships with these partners, we developed joint business plans with each of them to accelerate their overall business and our business with them in 2012. The feedback we received was that these customers “felt honored” to be a part of our company and they look forward to expanding their business with us.

The opportunity for success has never been better for our sales team and our customers.
Dubai - What a week in the Middle East! From January 15 to the 17 Arecont Vision took part in the 2012 Intersec Show in Dubai with the Harco Group and Norbain where we showcased our new WDR technology along with the rest of our product line. And on the 18th and 19th Arecont Vision hosted its first 3X event with key integration partners from all over the Middle East and North Africa. During the 3X event awards were given to Harco, Milestone, Siemens, IT Works, MAB Group and G4S, for their exemplary work in 2011. Special thanks go out to Amy Murch and Sanjit Bardhan for leading the way through a fantastic week in Dubai!

Singapore - We had a fantastic 3X conference in Singapore on February 23 and 24. Our best customers from Asia-Pacific learned how to develop a dramatically enhanced business plan for selling megapixel technology into their region. They gained an improved understanding of the Arecont Vision megapixel camera product line, and built relationships with Arecont Vision's leaders at the corporate level and in their region.

MegaVideo(R) Compact Wide Dynamic Range Series - A new selection of Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) cameras can provide clear images in extreme light conditions containing both very bright and dark areas in the field of view. These new WDR cameras provide a low cost megapixel WDR solution for mainstream applications.

Arecont Vision's Wide Dynamic Range megapixel cameras provide a dynamic range of up to 100dB representing up to a 50dB improvement compared to traditional non-WDR cameras, which is equivalent to 300 times wider dynamic range. In addition to providing the highest dynamic range 1080p and 3 megapixel cameras in the security industry, these cameras also deliver the industry's highest frame rates of 32 frames-per-second (fps) for 1080p high definition (Full HD) cameras and 21fps for 3 megapixel cameras. The WDR Series features day/night and auto-iris options, compact size, an H.264 (MPEG-4, Part 10) and MJPEG dual encoder and use of a binning technique to improve low light performance. They share other important Arecont Vision features such as flexible cropping, bitrate control, multi-streaming, forensic zooming and Power over Ethernet (PoE) or auxiliary power (12-48vDC/24vAC).

MegaDome(R) 2 Series - The new full-featured MegaDome(R) 2 series of all-in-one H.264 cameras combine megapixel resolution with remote focus, remote zoom, day/night and auto-iris capabilities. The new functionality will allow systems integrators to install the cameras without locally fixing the field of view or focus of the camera. All lens operations can be remotely controlled from the head end to refine the field of view and focus of the scene. Short or full range focus scan functions analyze the local or full scene to determine the best focus for the chosen field of view.

The MegaDome(R) 2 cameras combine either 1.3, 1080p, 3 or 5 megapixel resolutions in IP66 environmentally rated and IK10 vandal-resistant domes. Features include an easily adjustable 3-axis gimbal to simplify installation using 360-degree pan, 90-degree tilt and 360-degree z-axis adjustments. These PSIA and ONVIF-conforming cameras also have a dual H.264/MJPEG encoder as well as privacy masking, flexible cropping, multi-streaming, extended motion detection and forensic digital PTZ.
