The sun shines for Wavestore in Bermuda

As a British manufacturer Wavestore is proud to continue to wave the flag with news that our video management software has been utilised as part of a city-wide crime prevention, license plate recognition and parking enforcement video surveillance solution for Bermuda City.

Working closely with Smartrove, a data offload company based in the Silicon Valley in the United States, we have successfully completed the

integration and deployment of a large city-wide surveillance network on the island of Bermuda.

The  technology alliance between the two companies has allowed the Bermuda police department to wirelessly monitor activity in the farthest corners of the island and improve law and order by having a 24/7 video surveillance system operating over carrier grade equipment from Smartrove.

Wavestore in Command and Control

Wavestore’s VMS has been successfully integrated with Command and Control software from a number of leading manufacturers, including CNL Software, iComply, ISM, IXTROM and Lenel.

The demand for Command and Control solutions from commercial organisations, as well as defence forces, police and other emergency services, reflects the increasing need to rapidly respond to events whether natural or manmade disasters, or to keep one step ahead of the increasingly sophisticated activities of criminal gangs and terrorists. Airports, ports, government buildings and establishments, pharmaceutical, nuclear, oil and gas plants and utilities are just a few examples of where an effective Command and Control regime can help security personnel manage and minimise the threat that may come from criminal or terrorist activity, as well as having the ability to rapidly respond to any operational emergencies or health & safety issues.

Grandstream’s cameras, which utilize H.264 compression to minimize bandwidth, feature SIP/VoIP for 2-way audio and video streaming to mobile and video phones

Wavestore's unique De-warping software module can be configured to automatically pan like a continual PTZ through images captured by 360 degree (fisheye) cameras.

Operators can also 'move' effortlessy throughout the images via a conventional joystick or a 3-axis mouse
