If these same principles are applied to each identified camera location, it’s then relatively straightforward to define the operating requirements, and the overall specification for the CCTV systems component parts.

 

Of course, the same analytical approach must also be applied to the design of the monitoring, control and recording sub systems, if the overall design is going to be optimised for the sites requirements.

So there we have it; three different doors in three very different situations, leading to three completely different ‘micro’ profiles.

 

Although all three doors are relatively close to each other ( in terms of a category 2 'macro' evaluation ), they each provide relatively simple examples as to how individual micro profiles, can offer a very useful working basis for developing key individual parts of the eventual CCTV system design.
