Guide to Closed Circuit TV (CCTV)

So would you like to play "Spot the CCTV Camera?". Eagle eyed visitors may recognise the profusion of street furniture, surrounding a single heritage dome camera keeping watch over part of Londons' prestigious Oxford Street shopping area.

All you need to know about lenses,
for all types of video surveillance.

A basic Lens coverage guide
The basic lens coverage guide detailed below, is intended to provide an indication as to
the various coverages, that can be achieved using different focal length lenses on the
most popular imager formats; It is by no means extensive, and will be subject to further
development in the very near future. Use either feet or metres throughout (1 metre = 3.28 feet).
Example:- 1/3"CCD camera, at 20 feet distance; a 12mm lens will provide
8' x 6' on screen.
