Arecont Vision introduce new MegaPixel Dome Cameras


Arecont Vision announces the further expansion of its full line of H.264 megapixel network cameras with the addition of the MegaDome™ series, integrating the camera, lens and housing into an all-in-one solution. Available in color or Day/Night versions and with 1.3MP, 2MP, 3MP or 5MP sensors, the dome cameras incorporate Arecont Vision's fully compliant implementation of H.264 (MPEG 4, Part 10) compression that uses up to 10 times on average less bandwidth and storage compared to megapixel counterparts using MJPEG compression.

MegaDome™ Features:

* Integrated H.264 megapixel camera, lens, and IP66 dome housing

* H.264 compression standard: 10x average bandwidth and storage reduction over MJPEG

* Support both H.264 and MJPEG at full resolutions and frame rates up to 32fps

* Camera gimbal with 360° pan and 90° tilt adjustment

* 1.3, 2, 3, and 5 MP sensor configurations with up to 2592x1944 resolution

* 4” vandal resistant dome enclosure, IP66 weatherproofing standard

* Superior low light sensitivity: 1Ú2” CMOS sensor
