Security end-users and installers will have access to more reliable and better priced IP-CCTV solutions following the confirmation of a special partnership agreement between the Panasonic solutions distributor CCTV Center and ZyXEL, the leading global broadband network specialist.

The agreement will see ZyXEL playing a key part in giving security customers more robust, well-priced IP-CCTV systems under the Panasonic i-Pro and i-Pro24/7 solutions packages. “A totally reliable network is a major component of any IP-CCTV system,” explains Tim Cocks, Technical Director of CCTV Center. “For the complete solutions that we offer we were looking for a partner that could match the Panasonic brand in terms of quality and value. The use of professional-grade network technology is essential for mission-critical  security applications, where system down-time is not acceptable.  However, up until now, CCTV planners have had little choice but to use prohibitively expensive enterprise solutions from specialist companies, or to compromise and risk down-time with equipment designed for general purpose broadband applications.

Once installed, i-Pro 24/7 provides a secure, round-the-clock monitoring solution that can be easily expanded, or redesigned to meet changing needs into the future.
