DEDICATED MICROS TO SHOWCASE CUSTOMER-FOCUSED
EMBEDDED SURVEILLANCE SOLUTIONS AT IFSEC 2009

Dedicated Micros - part of AD Group - will be using IFSEC 2009 to showcase its latest enterprise-level solutions, including a revolutionary Integrated Camera Recorder (ICR), and to unveil major new additions to its popular DVR product lines.

The most significant launch for Dedicated Micros at IFSEC 2009, the Integrated Camera Recorder (ICR), combines a megapixel camera with a powerful enterprise class video server all in one compact package - to deliver robust, failsafe, recording at the edge of a customer’s network.

For customers who require DVRs to protect their key assets, Dedicated Micros also plans to unveil the latest, entry level, EcoSense and hybrid SD Advanced products during the show. In addition, visitors to the company's stand will have the opportunity to enter a free prize draw, with the chance to win one of its new EcoSense DVRs.

Also during IFSEC 2009, Dedicated Micros is shortlisted in three categories of the prestigious Security Industry Awards. The company is a finalist under CCTV Product of the Year for its DV-IP Server with an embedded NetVu Console capability; in the Integrated Security Product of the Year category, thanks to its groundbreaking Emergency Messaging and Mass Notification System, and for Security Project of the Year category for a Proactive Audio-Video solution which has proved to be extremely successful in the Canadian capital Ottawa, providing a measurable reduction in vandalism.

The results of the IFSEC 2009 Security Industry Awards will be announced at a high profile awards ceremony being held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on the evening of Monday 11 May.

Said Pauline Norstrom, Director of Worldwide Marketing at Dedicated Micros: "At IFSEC 2009, we are bringing to market a number of customer-focused advances in surveillance technology including, the EcoSense and SD Advanced DVRs, and most notably, the much anticipated Integrated Camera Recorder (ICR). This landmark solution underlines our determination to deliver a, high performance, decentralised approach to CCTV recording in the network environment. Alongside the ICR, we remain committed to our high end server, decoder and video management systems, from the DV-IP to the HighVu Excel.”

Additionally, Pauline Norstrom has been asked to give a presentation on Wednesday 13th May (1.00 - 1.30 pm) in the New Product and Technology Showcase Theatre entitled: "IP Lessons A Challenging View of CCTV in an Educational Context".
