AD GROUP UNVEILS NEW AD NETWORK VIDEO SERVICE
TO OFFER SEAMLESS INTELLIGENCE FOR
ENTERPRISE SURVEILLANCE SOLUTIONS

CCTV specialist AD Group launched its new AD Network Video service at IFSEC 2009. The company’s AD Network Video subsidiary has been aligned so it can draw upon AD Group’s world leading NetVu Connected video technology to deliver integrated enterprise level security and safety solutions, specifically targeted at consultants, integrators and end users, across the EMEA region.

Representing all AD Group brands and surveillance capabilities, moving forward, AD Network Video will be able to provide seamless advice, support, and project management where there is a requirement to combine a broad range of NetVu Connected solutions, sourced across multiple AD Group companies.

In practice, this means that customers - for the first time will have the prospect of unlocking the key integration benefits of multiple AD Group systems at the specification and purchasing stage. Should prospective customers wish, for example, to bring together Video Smoke Detection, HD CCTV and mobile digital CCTV, for a specific project, there will now be one consistent point of contact to discuss, identify and fulfil their requirements.

AD Group believes that the single source approach it is adopting through AD Network Video will greatly simplify the whole procurement process, with AD Network Video acting as the hub for communication with customers - and between AD Group companies - so ensuring that the right Group-wide solution can be delivered on time and to budget.

Additionally, to support the launch of AD Network Video, and especially its customers in the South of England, AD Group recently invested in a new purpose-built demonstration area in Bicester near Oxford which will be fully operational by the end of May. This supplements a similar resource at the Group’s head office at Daresbury in Cheshire.

Said Alan Lefford, Director of Video Solutions, at AD Network Video: “Ultimately, with AD Network Video coming on stream, it has, I believe, never been easier for customers with multiple or large scale sites to unlock the operational advantages that come from a common embedded architecture which supports the, seamless, integration and control of NetVu Connected CCTV systems. We are confident that this more intelligent approach to the delivery of enterprise level surveillance will reap long-term dividends for customers and the projects they are seeking to protect, whatever their specific requirements. The scope of what we can offer through AD Network Video is truly impressive and includes: Fixed and Mobile CCTV, Video Management, Fire Detection Systems, Video Analytics, Remote Monitoring and Access Control.

“To put this into some sort of context, if we take the example of a large airport, it is perfectly possible for us to support the specification, delivery and installation, of key elements such as: mobile CCTV solutions to ensure the safety and security of passengers on buses and trains connecting to the terminal; emergency messaging through the NetVu Connected infrastructure; video smoke detection to protect assets such as aircraft hangars from the threat of fire; ANPR cameras for car park entrances/exits; video analytics to keep an eye on the security critical perimeter fence, high definition cameras to monitor the actual runway; video systems for cockpit and cabin security on the aircraft themselves plus the video servers and graphic user interface required for CCTV monitoring and control.
