AD GROUP APPOINTS ALAN LEFFORD
AS DIRECTOR OF VIDEO SOLUTIONS
TO HEAD-UP NEW AD NETWORK VIDEO SERVICE

 

CCTV specialist AD Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Alan Lefford as its Director of Video Solutions who will be responsible for bringing to market, combined, AD Group product solutions through the new AD Network Video service which he will head-up.

Alan's focus is to be primarily on the EMEA region and he was much in evidence at IFSEC 2009 where AD Network Video had its own high profile stand. 

Representing all AD Group brands and capabilities, AD Network Video is being positioned as the central point of contact for consultants, installers and end users involved in large scale, enterprise level, projects.

Said Mike Newton AD Group's CEO: "Given his wealth of experience, Alan is an invaluable addition to the AD Group team. Moving forward, in his AD Network Video role, he will work ever more closely with individual Group companies to project manage large scale Group-wide contracts. The ultimate goal of this move is to ensure that a seamless experience is delivered for customers working with AD so they are able to realise the real return on investment and benefits of our solutions."

A well respected figure in the security industry, Alan is currently Vice-Chairman of the CCTV Section of the BSIA. He started his career with an apprenticeship in telecommunications, before moving into the security and fire industry through servicing and commissioning intruder and fire detection systems. He then progressed to hold Sales Manager positions in both the fire and security sector and was responsible for spearheading the development of an International System Group.

Alan then joined Philips and progressed from product management to UK Sales Director for Bosch Security Systems. He was then given the opportunity to combine his extensive technical, sales and product knowledge to become ADPRO Business Development Director for EMEA and more recently was responsible for expanding the Middle East Fire and Security market for Xtralis.
