JVC awarded Milestone Manufacturer Alliance Partner of the Year 2008 at MIPS

London, UK, 17 October 2008 - At the bi-annual ‘MIPS’ event in Europe during the first week of October 2008, CCTV IP video recording and display product manufacturer, JVC Professional Europe was hailed as Milestone Manufacturer Alliance Partner of the Year 2008. 

JVC’s Hybrid 9-channel VR-N900U and 16-channel VR-N1600U Network Video Recorders have embedded Milestone XProtect™ video management software.  Milestone software also supports a wide range of cameras including JVC IP network cameras. .

Henrik Friborg, VP of Strategic Alliances and Co-Founder of Milestone Systems says, “We chose JVC as a Milestone Partner because of their demonstrated openness in embracing our business model, using Milestone XProtect software for their embedded NVR solutions.  At the same time, JVC has also supported using Milestone IP video management software with their network cameras in the channels that are driving the convergence from analogue to digital solutions,  JVC has combined the best of the analogue and the IP world in their new line of IP cameras and NVRs.

At MIPS, JVC showed their largest-ever range of IP equipment including the first European showing of the VN-X35U Megapixel camera promising significantly improved video quality for better response and evidence.  This was shown alongside the JVC range of IP domes and network video recorders.
