Kaiserslautern, December, 02, 2008.  The Detektor International Award is a worldwide established award that recognizes technological innovations and trend-setting products that significantly contribute to the further development of the security industry.

The best products are divided into the following three categories:

* Alarm systems

* Access control

* Video surveillance (CCTV)

The winners of this year's awards were announced by a jury at the gala  dinner in Copenhagen on the 19th November. The MOBOTIX Q22 Hemispheric  received the "Innovative Achievement Award", which was accepted by Bo Orbjerg, MOBOTIX representative of the Nordic and Baltic countries.

The Detektor International Award is the only global security industry award which cannot be applied for. The selection is based solely on product launches which have taken place in the last twelve months. The selection and evaluation of the products is carried out by an international jury consisting of eleven independent security industry professionals, thus making the Detektor International Award both  unique and very distinguished.
