MuxLab Streamlines PC Audio Cabling via Cat5E/6 Twisted Pair

Stereo Audio Balun Simplifies AV Connections

 

Montreal, Canada — MuxLab Inc. a designer and manufacturer of security video and audio-video connectivity solutions for copper twisted pair, announces its latest addition to its security video and AV connectivity portfolio ..The Stereo PC-Audio Balun (500030).

Developed for the home and office markets, the Stereo PC-Audio Balun allows one line level analog stereo audio channel to be connected via Cat5E/6 twisted pair cable, thus replacing two standard audio cables.

Used in pairs, the Stereo PC-Audio Balun has a bandwidth of 60Hz-20KHz and is designed for mid-range audio applications such as PC servers, DLP projectors, AV monitors, AV switchers, distribution amplifiers, intercom systems and other line level analog audio equipment.

The product features one (1) built-in 3.5 mm stereo plug to allow AV equipment to be connected directly to the structured cabling system and supports up to 5,000 ft (1.5km) via Cat5E cable.

The product works in conjunction with MuxLab’s other analog audio baluns and AV hubs for a total cabling solution.
