The new version enables advanced detection of events, investigation, shared alert management, bookmarking and export of evidence ­ all within seconds. Ocularis Video Synopsis, an optional module resulting from a collaboration between OnSSI and BriefCam, uniquely enables the compression of video activity into a very short timeframe for faster identification of key events. A day of video footage can be compressed into a 60 second video clip.

Ocularis is a truly innovative, intelligent IP-based video surveillance management and control software solution that magnifies the role of the IP video system to become a full-fledged, video-centric management system for video information across the enterprise. 

A highly intuitive, unified user interface provides instantaneous control of all aspects of video detection, analysis, delivery and response. Ocularis' newly updated investigation tools include:

-- Ocularis Video Synopsis (optional) enables the compression of video activity into a very short timeframe for faster identification of key events.

-- The Kinetic Timeline enables extended segments of recorded video to be reviewed with one swipe, with periods of captured motion events clearly indicated.

-- The unique Time Slicer (patent pending) and Motion Slicer tools auto-generate thumbnails of time intervals and detected motion to simplify after-the-fact investigation.

-- Multi-parameter Motion Detection zeroes in on specific motion behaviors based on the size and speed of an object.

-- Automatic or manual push live video alerting facilitates “blank screen” monitoring of filtered events.

Ocularis' bookmarking functionality and dynamically updated shared alert database streamline shared handling of incidents. Multiple operators at different locations can collaborate by accessing alerts and bookmarks for status updates, to comment or to build a case.
