Pelco IP Cameras Receive Lenel Factory Certification

Clovis, CA (March 26, 2009) Pelco has had a number of their IP-based camera solutions certified by Lenel Systems International for use with OnGuard® security management software and NVR systems by Lenel and is a member of the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.

This certification continues to demonstrate the Pelco commitment toward openness, while allowing the company’s suite of IP-based camera solutions to work seamlessly with Lenel OnGuard access control systems and Network Video Recorders (NVRs). This new integration/certification allows Pelco Camclosure IP, IP3701, Spectra IV IP and Spectra Mini IP camera dome models to display video within the OnGuard security application and allows video to be recorded directly onto Lenel’s NVRs.

“Pelco and Lenel Systems International teamed to create a powerful, integrated access control and video security system, with the combination of these two technologies forming a complete integrated security solution for our mutual customers,” says Terry Carver, Pelco API Business development manager.

Lenel established the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program to enable its customers to easily interface Lenel OnGuard systems with third-party technologies, which now include the Pelco IP camera family.

“We are pleased that Pelco has taken advantage of the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program and its ability to support manufacturers in their efforts to develop integration modules to work with the OnGuard platform.   We look forward to Pelco’s continued participation in the Program to the benefit of our companies' system users,” says Raffaele Ceravolo, Lenel's director of strategic alliances.
