Pelco NVR 5000 Network Video Recorder

It never rains in California, it pours ...

Dateline:- April 6th 2005, Clovis, California, USA

Most manufacturers would be content to simply launch a single new world class product, but not Californian based manufacturer Pelco. This market leading company has chosen to introduce FOUR specialist CCTV products, in less time than it takes to read this article!

As the CCTV industry continues to move ever closer towards total 'digital' integration, Pelco have now unveiled their eagerly anticipated Endura NVR 5000 series network video security system.
Described by the company as "a powerful fault tolerant, distributed hardware and software architecture" solution, the system is in theory almost unlimited in its practical application.

Using new or existing Local Area Network (LAN) and IT infrastructure, Endura can provide a 'virtual' system offering flexible handling, record and replay of both video and audio from a wide range of sources, and all efficiently controlled using a choice of network enabled devices.

With over 30 exclusive patents pending, this innovative system comprises all the components necessary to build a truly 'state of the art' network video solution; including encoders, decoders, recorders, workstations, displays, storage devices and advanced management technologies.

For a cutting edge solution, the company describe their network product as demonstrating "excellent image quality, dynamic video stream optimisation, and unparalled performance allowing for minimal latency".

As a network Video system is only ever going to be as good as its imaging components, Pelco are also announcing the launch of the latest Spectra III dome varient, a cost effective 18x Day / Night camera unit.

The unit is offered with a number of standard features, including Dynamic Window Blanking and Preset Freeze Frame, as well as an optional NTCIP translator 'plug in'. In addition, the units can be supplied in a range of Heavy Duty, Pressurised and Stainless Steel options to suit almost any environment.
