At the recent Professional Security Installer awards, the Californian based CCTV specialist Pelco, have been recognised as 'Manufacturer of the Year'.

In what is already a highly competitive marketplace, this accolade has been bestowed by the nations specialist security installers. According to the magazine sponsoring the event, "Pelco ... is now one of the fastest growing brands in the UK surveillance sector - a fact recognised by the company's excellent showing in the awards voting".

Kevin Smith, Pelco Regional Manager for the UK and Ireland comments, "Being named Manufacturer of the Year is a brilliant award for Pelco in the U.K. It clearly demonstrates our commitment to the region, and our customers respect and commitment to Pelco. We are proud of our accomplishments and expect future growth and presence in the marketplace".

At the same awards ceremony, the companies high end DX 8000 Digital Video Recorder was awarded 2nd place in the coveted category of 'CCTV Product of the Year'. Since its launch, this top quality fully featured DVR, has gained increasing respect from both installers and end users alike.

The PSI Premier Awards were this year held alongside the PSI Premier Golf Day, held at the world famous Moor Park Golf Club. All of the nominees have been voted for by U.K. security installers.
