US based Nox Defense have launched a new RFID based covert tagging product, designed to interface with CCTV systems, to allow intruders and thieves to be electronically tracked without their knowledge. In advance of the ISC West Security Show, Pelco have also announced the launch of their latest Spectra IV IP dome camera. An IndigoVision IP Video solution has been deployed to protect the Madhya Pradesh State Mansion situated in India's capital city of New Delhi. This important local government building is the administrative centre for the country's largest state, and it's security is overseen by the State's Commissioner of Police. The 'Control Centre' IP Video and Alarm management software, allows both live and recorded images and audio to be monitored by the security team, tasked with tackling a whole range of security issues.

ioimage, the specialist 'intelligent' video application specialist has appointed Mr. John Whiteman as Vice President and General Manager of ioimage North America. He joins the company with over 20 years experience working in the security industry. - more info. on this story
