Following on the success of last years IFSEC Show Guide, Doktor Jon has this year decided to provide an expanded event preview section, so for the benefit of anyone visiting IFSEC , manufacturers can briefly outline exactly what CCTV and IP Video products and services, they'll be showing or launching at this years show.

Alongside OT's existing range of fibre optic transmission systems, this show will see the launch of their latest 'Micro' fibre optic transmitter (see photo - left), a new media converter unit and also an IP Video Server.

The company will be launching their new IRB2-84VHQ Infra Red Professional Day / Night camera, which will be on show alongside a comprehensive range of rugged IR cameras.

This years event see's the launch of a number of new products, including the ICD509 true Day/Night Camera, A11 Hyper Dynamic Range IP Camera, PCSQ38 IP true D/N PTZ Dome, ICD 609 true D/N fixed Dome, LM172 Metal framed LCD monitors, along with an HD medical camera and monitor range. As well as displaying a comprehensive array of existing products, Ikegami will also be introducing a full design, training and commissioning package.

TI are world renowned manufacturers of Imaging Components, widely used in the CCTV / IP Video Industries.
Their unique DaVinci family of devices, provides developers with a flexible approach in designing a wide range of video surveillance products. New for 2008, the DM 355IPNC-MT5 HD chipset will be previewed at the event.
On Monday 12th May, Marion Deriviere will be presenting a paper entitled "IP Net Cam reference design based on TI DaVinci Technology: a smart move for a cost effectiveand intelligent surveillance system".

Making a debut at this years event, the latest model Li165 camera (see photo - left) provides 1.4MP resolution, with enhanced low light performance and image streaming at 15 ips. Also on show for the first time, the Li175 is a 1.3MP network camera incorporating on board analytics, wide dynamic range, and image streaming at up to 21 ips. These new models will be debuted alongside Lumenera's existing product range.

The existing range of Nextiva IP Video Surveillance Solutions will be on show, highlighting Verints 'end to end' approach to providing advanced analytics enabled systems. A number of new features will be demonstrated in the Nextiva Video Management Software, including CamAlert™, an advanced analytics application that creates alerts if cameras are blocked or out of focus.

The existing range of 'IRLAB' branded Infra Red illuminators will be on show, providing a wide range of models offering semi covert or covert lighting at distances up to 200 metres. Alongside the current product range which includes true D/N high resolution IR corrected cameras, Viewlink will also be showing their latest Varifocal IR camera, and sophisticated ANPR cameras suitable for static or high vehicle speed operations.

New for IFSEC 2008 will be the latest 36x IP Video Speed Dome camera, which will be exhibited alongside a conventional analogue version, and both IR and Mini Speed Dome IP Video cameras

A wide range of CCTV cameras will be on show, including internal Dome cameras, Vandal Proof Domes, external Day Night cameras with options of Auto Iris or Varifocal lenses, and built in Infra Red diode illumination, for viewing distances over 70 metres away at night.

At this years show, Videotec will be launching their 'ALBERT' Video Analytics package, a self learning "Event Detector" device designed specifically for monitoring dynamic / outdoor situations.
