CMP Information, the organiser of IFSEC has announced that it is now accepting entries for the renowned IFSEC Security Industry Awards. Acknowledging the people, products and technological advancements that have played a big part in the security industry over the past year, the IFSEC 2008 Security Industry Awards will be presented at an awards reception and party during the evening of 12th May 2008 at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham.

The categories for this year are:

CCTV Product of the Year

Intruder Alarm Product of the Year

Physical Security Product of the Year

Access Control Product of the Year

Communication Product of the Year

Best Security Project or Installation

Guarding Service Delivery to Customer
 

David Dickinson, chief executive of the BSIA comments, "The IFSEC Security Industry Awards demonstrate the extensive talents and diversity of the private security industry in the UK. Every year the industry excels in bringing new products onto the market which push the boundaries of technological advancement. The standard of entries is always incredibly high, and I look forward to reading about the raft of new and innovative products to enter the market this year.”

James Blue, event director of IFSEC comments, “This year the awards have had a makeover and participants can expect to be dazzled in an electrifying environment! “Taking part in the IFSEC Security Industry Awards gives companies the chance to showcase the good work they have accomplished - as well as making a positive statement to both customers and competitors.”

The deadline for entries is 12 March 2008. Entry is free and open exclusively to IFSEC exhibitors.
