Get an IP Education at IFSEC 2008 12 - 15th May 2008 NEC Birmingham, U.K. Press Release - London, 16thApril 2008.
IFSEC 2008 will be presenting the IP Innovation Centre for the first time this year, as part of the popular IP & Networks product area. Run by IP integration specialists Universal Security, in conjunction with the CNL IPSecurityCenter, the new IP Innovation Centre on stand 18178 in hall 18 at IFSEC 2008 promises to be an adventure in IP for installers and security managers alike. Taking place from 12-15 May 2008 at the NEC, Birmingham, IFSEC is the worlds largest annual security event. Showcasing products from Panasonic, Cathexis, Wavesight, Barco, Third Millennium, Complus Teltronic, Honeywell and Lenel, the area will feature a specially commissioned installation of systems to demonstrate how they can be networked. The front end will be of particular interest to security managers and other end-users, who will gain an insight into how integration can offer them numerous operational benefits. Video images will be thrown onto a series of 50 inch cube displays, while user interfaces from two access control systems will be displayed on vertically aligned PC screens. The back end, meanwhile, will attract installers and systems integrators, who will be able to see the technical possibilities that IP can open up for them. Not only will the area provide hands-on opportunities for visitors, but it will be the focal point for a number of interactive seminars each day, focusing on the themes of integration, controllability and reporting structures. Keith Bloodworth, CEO at CNL says, Integrated security forms a significant theme for IFSEC 2008. We have been at the forefront of this technology for a long time and are delighted to be offered the opportunity to participate in the IP Innovation Centre. We are looking forward to demonstrating with our advanced integration partner, Universal Security who will be setting up and managing the IP Innovation Centre. The IP Innovation Centre will highlight real benefits to end-users and greater opportunities to systems integrators. James Blue, Event Director of IFSEC comments, Together with the IP & Networks product area, the introduction of this feature makes IFSEC 2008 the ideal event for those moving over to physical security from the IT profession, and those already involved in security who want to take advantage of the benefits of greater convergence and integration.IFSEC 2008 adjoins The Facilities Show and Safety & Health Expo, taking place from 12/13-15 May 2008 at the NEC, Birmingham, UK.
