So would you like to play "Spot the CCTV Camera?". Eagle eyed visitors may recognise the profusion of street furniture, surrounding a single heritage dome camera keeping watch over part  of Londons' prestigious Oxford Street shopping area.

Following on the success of last years Show Guide, Doktor Jon has again decided to provide an event preview section, so for the benefit of anyone visiting IFSEC , manufacturers can briefly outline exactly what CCTV products and services, they'll be showing or launching at this years show.


Viewlink Technology Ltd. - Hall 18 - Stand 21208, - contact Hector Wang
A wide range of IRLAB Infra Red capable cameras will be on show, including a new model which is optimised for vehicle number plate recognition.

Alongside the company's established Digi Eye multifunctional digital security management system, new products will be on show including DigiEye 3G/NS/Lite with Audio, ANPR and ATM integration available. Also the latest developments in the SYAC Supervision product line, and a new multi protocol Translator Platform for embedded systems.

The company will be launching the Fluidmesh 1100 point to point wireless Ethernet bridge, which provides a high performance highly secure IP compatible connection. Also on show will be the Fluidmesh 2200 "intelligent" wireless transmission 'mesh networking' system. Designed specifically for video surveillance applications, the highly advanced unit can optimise transmission, performing "intelligent" routing of automatically identified packets in real time, using a range of video encoding standards.

On show will be the award winning Latitude NVMS solution, Latitude Video Analytics and a range of IP Video Surveillance cameras

Being launched at the show, are a new Active CCTV Transmitter Balun for DVR / IP Video over Cat5 cable, incorporating low power, gain compensation and ground loop isolation as standard. In addition, a complete range of Passive and Active transmission equipment suitable for use with Cat 5 will be on demonstration.

Demonstrating a range of wireless communication products, including the very latest Ethernet microwave and multichannel links for CCTV, and Mobile - T digital non line of sight links for use in either vehicles or man packs.

In addition to the existing range of IQeye Megapixel IP Network cameras and accessories, the company will be launching their new IQ eye Sentinel Series of affordable high performance Megapixel cameras.

Eyeview Electronics Co. Ltd.. - Hall 18 - Stand 23208, - contact Lora Tsai
The company will be showing their new 3.9" Mini Speed Dome camera, which is also available as an MPEG-4 IP Video varient.In addition, a Mini Keyboard controller will be presented alongside analogue and IP Video dome cameras.

A wide range of new video surveillance products will be introduced at the event, including the new PUBLIC VIEW "Networkable" LCD Monitors with built in Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) camera, MegaPixel monitors, LG Electronics Speed Dome camera, a new bullet zoom camera, IR illuminators, an analogue to IP Video PCB convertor module, and a WDR vandal resistant dome camera. In addition, the complete range of Genie products will be shown alongside the LG range of video products.

On show will be the company's latest range of encoders and 3rd party IP camera integration products, alongside a highly flexible and scaleable DVR solution, with advanced remote surveillance and alarm management software.

The company will be launching a new H.264 Megapixel IP Video Surveillance camera, which will be shown along with a range of IP Video products, including cameras and video servers all bundled with free management software.

The Model DV-58/CELL stand alone miniature DVR has been shortlisted as a finalist in the IFSEC 2007 Security Industry Awards. Designed as a stable battery powered field deployable unit with built in Cellular Technology, Sleep Mode and advanced Video Motion Detection capabilities, the recorder offers unique control functions which can be addressed through SMS commands.

Audax as sponsors of the Police and Public Security Hall, will be exhibiting a new ANPR system, DCI Portable interviewing suite, and in vehicle Mobile DVR. In addition, their Cylon Body Worn Surveillance System has been short listed as a finalist for the IFSEC 2007 'Best New CCTV Product' award.

Celebrating it's 25th anniversary this year, DM will introduce a range of high end IP video systems, including a number of new video analytics products, which will be unveiled at the event for the first time; these include the new enterprise level HighVu Excel which is a modular expandable high performance CCTV recording and IP transmission system. Also on show for the first time, the feature rich SD range is a DVR designed for small to medium single site operations, using a unique user friendly Graphical User Interface accessible locally or over the network. These will be on show alongside the entire range of Dedicated Micros products.

The latest model Raven PC 104 ruggedised Four channel Intelligent Video Server with built in integrated content analysis software will be on show. The unit which is fully compatible with Cisco 3200 wireless routers , provides maximum flexibility for a range of challenging applications.

Alongside the company's expansive portfolio of video surveillance equipment, a number of new products will be showing at the event for the first time. The latest range of Camclosure IS and IP camera's will be featured along with the the latest Ti varient of the Esprit, using a built in FLIR high performance thermal imaging camera, to extend the scope of remote control imaging systems. For anyone planning to migrate their existing analogue cameras over to IP, the 8 channel NET 5308T encoder provides MPEG4 streams at 4CIF real time resolution, using a single network port. The latest 500 and 600 series large screen displays will also be on show, as will the Pelco Multiviewer.

The UserGroup now comprises over 10,000 members, and will be exhibiting at the event to discuss the work of the Group, future events and their IPfocus magazine.
