Guide to Closed Circuit TV (CCTV)

So would you like to play "Spot the CCTV Camera?". Eagle eyed visitors may recognise the profusion of street furniture, surrounding a single heritage dome camera keeping watch over part  of Londons' prestigious Oxford Street shopping area.

Following on the success of last years Show Guide, Doktor Jon has again decided to provide an event preview section, so for the benefit of anyone visiting IFSEC , manufacturers can briefly outline exactly what CCTV products and services, they'll be showing or launching at this years show.


JVC Professional Europe - Hall , Stand 14052, - contact Djamila Ait-Braham
A wide range of IP cameras, encoders and recording equipment including the VR-N900U Network Video Recorder, will be highlighting on the company's stand. In addition, a complete range of CCTV cameras and high resolution display monitors, will complete an extensive display of very high quality video surveillance products.

Along with the existing ADPRO FastTrace and FastTX range of video transmission products, the new ADPRO Presidium Intrusion Detection System will also be on show for the first time, alongside the company's new PRO external long range PIR movement sensors designed specifically for outdoor perimeter protection.

A complete range of Lumenera's MegaPixel network cameras, will be displayed on the ObjectVideo stand, with the UK launch of their latest model Li045, which incorporates ObjectVideo's analytics software to provide onboard real time detection, tracking and analysis of objects and threats.

Arecont Vision.

The company will be launching their new line of fully featured "mini-cameras" measuring just 3 inches in length; these will be on display alongside their existing range of MegaPixel Network Surveillance cameras.

The company will be showing their 3000 and 4000 range of NVR's, alongside a "Live Monitoring Console". In addition, the R% Visual Intelligence and Extreme Exception Reporting Software products will be on demonstration.

On show will be their unique ULISSE remote control camera positioning system, including the latest Thermal Imaging varient and the Ulisse MAX, built for the largest camera / lens combinations. In addition, an extensive range of environmental camera housings and control equipment will be on display, including the latest Medusa dome camera systems

Along with their industry leading IP Video camera range and video server products, Axis will be launching their new 247S Video server, designed to convert a standard analogue video signal into either a full frame Motion JPEG or MPEG-4 stream. In addition, new models in the MegaPixel camera range will be showcased alongside the latest video management software.

The Model BLC PRO 16 DVR, a 16 channel MPEG-4/H264 Linux based Standalone DVR will be on show for the first time, alongside a range of other high performance digital recording solutions, for a wide range of security applications.

The company will be exhibiting their unique range of EnView Digital Video Recorders (DVR), within the Korean 'Pavilion'.

New products being launched at the show include the Bosch GEN 4 Domes and Dinion IP Video cameras, which will be exhibited alongside an extensive range of CCTV / IP Video products including the Dibos and Vidos units.

In addition, to an extensive range of both CCTV and IP Video equipment, comprising cameras, monitors and recorders, a number of new models, including the entry level DSR 2004 / 2016, mid range DSR 5709 / 5716 and high end DSR HB8000 DVR's will be launched, alongside the latest model VCC 9500 / 9600 / 9700 and 9800P dome cameras, and VSP 8500 system controller.

The company have chosen the theme of 'diversity and integration' for this years event, and along with a broad range of hardware including cameras, domes, and DVR's, there will also be advanced analysis and management software on display. In addition, the new Video Management Centre will be officially launched at the show, along with the latest model DMS 80 and DMS 160 DVR's.
